Long-term recovery housing:
Women at Martha’s Place long-term housing each have their own room. Each of our four buildings offer individual bedrooms and shared living rooms, dining rooms, bathrooms, laundry facilities, and outdoor gardens. The program offers supportive services like case management, addictions counseling, money management, wellness workshops, and employment services.
Martha’s Angels alumni association
The graduates of Martha’s Place represent critical voices of advocacy during recovery. The Martha’s Place alumni organization, called Martha’s Angels, exemplifies this by focusing on outreach to other women struggling with addiction and acting as sponsors to women in the recovery process. These alumni are role models and resources to current residents of Martha’s Place. Additionally, a representative from the Martha’s Angels Alumni Association serves as a member on the Intersection of Change Board of Directors.
Wellness Wednesdays
Every Wednesday, Martha’s Place holds an hour long session and activities that exist to support and improve mental health and physical wellbeing for residents of Martha’s Place. We have a guest speaker each week to facilitate these sessions for the residents of Martha’s Place. Martha’s Place Wellness Wednesday activities include spiritual health, financial wellness, computer skills, gardening yoga and more.
